Week in Review

Marketing on Monday:

Here are the notes that I took for the gardener burger case part B.

What was the point of their marketing campaign?
      Morning Star                                Harvest                Boca Garden
|-----------------------------------------|-----|-----|-----|----------------|

If you are number 2, 3 or even 4, it’s not smart to grow the category (meatless burgers)
If you are a small company but dominate the category, it’s very wise to grow it.
***AT this point***
Brother Eagar asked us, "have you had enough of this case?"

FUN TIME
“Denny’s late night”

Losing customers for late night, by the truck loads, due to other companies (McDonalds, Taco Bell) were also instigating late night schedules.

Needed to rebrand “Late Night”

Agency Types:
Account – business
Creatives – Do the drawing, writing, IDEATION -background(this Is me)
Productions – Take it to print or produce it

It's time for some Denny's commercials.

here is one about a human slingshot.

here is one about a school mascot.

Here is Denny's late-night website.

Unfortunately, for you guys Tuesday and Wednesday, I was out. My wife had all four of her wisdom teeth taken out, and I was taking care of our three little ones at home.
I was told I did not miss to much in class, but they were wrong. Gabrielle Ross had her day on Tuesday, and I missed cake.

Thursday:
Today we had a quiz in supply-chain. It had been there about five days since we went over the material and it was not that hard. I did make one mistake that cost me some simple points. Lucky for us, we had a review right before the quiz. I doubt I would have done as well had we not done the review. After the quiz was done, we were given a team bonus question. A little tip for all of you: remember to make sure that all your figures are in the same type. For example: if it says months, every thing better be in months.

Friday:
Since Brother Andrews was going to be gone today, marketing took its place. Finance was going to be pretty easy seeing that we had exam due on Saturday, and an individual assignment do that night. Part of the assignment, and I have to brag, was an amortization table. My table integrated it Excel macros to create a dynamic amortization table to fit the perfect amount of periods. I wish I could give you a copy of it the sentence to be proprietary to me and totally copyrighted.
As for marketing we finished up a little more of our integrated marketing campaign. Since I had missed Tuesday and Wednesday I thought little behind but I do use my own personal commercial idea that seemed to take off. So I don't feel too much out of the loop.

Out of class:
since class got out on Friday a little earlier than it usually does, I helped Stephen finish up the business cards. We had a slight problem, seeing that the pages that were given to us were in illustrator files, and were 11 x 17. Now the first part we actually did know, but the second part we had no idea. This made it very difficult to print. We wanted all of our cars to be done for the flea market on Saturday. They turned out, well, okay. I'll have to do some work on that to make it just right.
Other wonderful amazing things that happened to our company, we got new prices, after we had printed the signs to put up at the booths. Let's just say Stacy was not too happy with that. I wasn't too happy especially since one item I dropped in price, while another went up. Seriously, this is not helping my website.

Well that's all folks. I hope to have each day this next week taken care of.
