This section is for you. It's also my last real blog about class. We are sworn to secrecy about the Final in OB and I don't feel there will be much use to anyone to cover the remaining classes. PLEASE!!!! Submit a comment down below and write: What I Wished I'd Known. Thank you again for a great experience.

IBC in Review and REflection
OB:
We had a guest from Epic Ventures. He spoke about internships with them and the Rexburg East Center and a company called "One Life at a Time". In the places where they work there is a 40% unemployment rate. For anyone with Spanish skills and want to apply, go to the (Free Food) presentation on (Free Food) Monday at 5:00 (Free Food) in Smith 340. (Free Food)
In 2000 the announcement came from President Hinckley saying that Ricks will become BYU-Idaho. How would you feel as a campus sports coach? 4-years... year... and then hear the athletics being done away with. CHANGE! How do you feel? Former Deans wrote letters to Elder Bednar.
How does Change affect you? You work in a company and they want you to manage the reduction of 15000 people. How would that make you feel? How about finding out your job was now obsolete? How do you deal with it? What do you do first? "Look at position and reviews of performance rather than names."
Change in the IBC:
Keep kicking us out of our paradigms.
The things I hated most I learned the most from
Keep Badger Creek
make sure to keep up the mix and chaos because it helps us think more about what is taught
Company time (we recognized the sacredness of your team/company time)
Funeral Address, Lighthouse movie, all the books, loan committee, self improvement, NASA case,
keep the chaos to put more responsibility and time management.
The first day to break out.
Stock Prices (food companies): just get rid of food, more benefit from other options than food. (stock prices are based on financials compared to past financials)
Role plays go a bit too long. People fall asleep (That happens no matter what time it is)
Schedules: everything is hard to follow (Why does it always say just "FN"? iLearn doesn't have the capabilities yet)
Schedule: more continuity for class regularity. (to us there was structure)
Supply chain [Choose a supplier] lesson should before Badger Creek. (you might not have the same value if you learned it before)
We wish we had more time, give us less time to come up with an idea. Badger creek should start faster and get companies up and running sooner. More class to company integration. Yet we still want it to keep it a bit separate.
Teach us more of the why behind OB. (Leadership can not be taught but must be learned)
Create case related to company.
Have evaluations come earlier.
"More work vs less work" (I'm going to fill the table with a mess load of food, if you want to eat more you can. I'm going to put it all out there)
Have another loan committee meeting that would keep us accountable beside the MD&A's
Maybe sell shares and have a shareholder meeting. (interesting)
Leadership and self deception should be given more weight. (this is a test of how much you want to learn)
Less conflict in assignments.
Choose a company to follow as a team.
"Good to Great" a bit repetitive, some like it some hate it
Have this class period before summation paper... (NO WAY!)
smaller companies.
Anything else add a comment.
