Supply Chain:
Today we had another simulation. The Benihana Restaurant. We were supposed to learn about batching, but that was lost somewhere. Mainly what we got out was there are so many things that go into a simple supply chain experiment. I got these numbers and found out together it was really lame. 5.) sh/8/sh
Better choice:
1.) 8/8/8
2.) 75/11
3.) 50/50/50
4.) 1.8X-HAPPY-5:00PM

Finance:
Today I didn't pay too much attention to, and it looks as though I won't for a while. After mocking out businesses for the 5th day straight, Brother Andrews went on to discuss the fun of future values. Seriously, I have had this material 3 times already. (Math 108, CIT 140, and Accounting 202) I think I understand it fairly well. The assignments were a cinch seeing that all I had to do is pull up my old excel files with the calculators and turn those in. If you had heeded my warning for the weekend, then you too would have been alright.
